I graduated from the University of Southern California with a Master’s degree in Social Work. I hit the ground running in my career as a psychiatric social worker for the largest mental health department in the country. Over the past decade, I’ve gone to places most wouldn’t dare to go and provided care to those who couldn’t find the strength to walk into a therapy office themselves.

Like where? I’m glad you asked. I’ve gone to a meat processing plant to provide support to an employee experiencing a mental health crisis. I’ve been to the homes of students who posted online about plans to harm others at their schools. I’ve responded to countless hospitals after tragedies and entered neighborhoods where even police wouldn’t go—just to name a few.

I followed my heart, filling in the gaps to give people access to quality mental health care—any place, any time.
